I have been employing Care Delight to support my daughter, since 2020 on a one to one basis and it is proving to be a perfect choice for my daughter. The carers are very conversant and well informed about all the procedures and policies involved in this support work and has proved to be the best choice for my daughter. My daughter's carer is kind, patient and was quick to gain her trust and learn what she liked and enjoyed doing. She understood my daughter’s need for routine and when she was enjoying what they were doing but also when my daughter was not enjoying things. The care whole focus is on my daughter throughout the time she is with her.  The carer involves my daughter in a good variety of activities and visits to places often using the train or bus services, both of which my daughter enjoys. She encourages my daughter to express herself and assists her with pronouncing any new words. The carer does cooking sessions with my daughter after going to the shops to purchase the necessary groceries. She provides opportunities for my daughter to choose what food she wishes to eat and the preparation is done together. The carer has done craft sessions with my daughter and they produced a lovely bear mat for my daughter’s room. My daughter is always excited to be going out with her carers and leads the way to catch the bus. On my daughter’s return home she is very happy and smiles all the time. My daughter has been three times for a sleepover with her carer which she gets excited about and I know that she is safe and well looked after during that time. I would highly recommend Care Delight for this kind of work and know that the carer's heart is focused totally on my daughter whilst she is in her care.
